The Clore Israel Foundation provides grants only to nonprofit organisations that are based and operate in Israel, which are either registered with the Israeli Ministry of the Interior as having nonprofit status or are recognised by the income tax authorities as a public institution exempt from income tax. The Foundation does not provide financial support to individuals.

The Foundation does not fund retroactively, does not cover budget deficits and does not usually support research, conferences or the production of books, films and videos.

In light of extensive commitments, the Clore Israel Foundation is currently not considering unsolicited applications for funding.
