Kindergarten in Palmach St., Yad Eliyahu, Tel Aviv

Palmach Street Kindergarten playground after renovation

This beautiful kindergarten was rebuilt by the Clore Israel Foundation through the Tel Aviv Foundation, with matching funds from the Tel Aviv Municipality. It was dedicated in November 2006, in the presence of the British Ambassador Mr. Tom Phillips, who spoke at the ceremony, the Chairman and Trustees of the Clore Israel Foundation, Mayor Ron Huldai, and Director General of Tel Aviv Foundation, Mr. Ben-Shoshan. The building is home to two kindergarten classes, a religious class and a special education class, serving some 40 children, both religious and secular.  The kindergarten provides an improved educational environment with an extended day, including a hot meal and the stimulation essential to the child’s development.
